Market Manager Position Opening
Meadowlark Market & Kitchen, a program of Slow Food Wind River, seeks a manager for its market operations. Meadowlark Market is a first project of SFWR, established to connect food producers with food consumers in the Wind River region. As a public-facing, brick-and-mortar market on Lander’s Main Street, Meadowlark Market allows producers and food entrepreneurs to connect and share their products with a larger and more diverse public than previously possible.
The Market Manager ensures smooth market operations, cultivates relationships with producers and sells their goods in the shop, engages and educates customers on the joy and value of local food and keeps our little shop in tip top shape! The manager works in alignment with guidelines set by the SRWR Board of Directors to grow the market and is responsible for the duties of running the day-to-day activities as well as developing promotional activities geared toward increasing sales and market offerings.
