Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt Scholarship

Feb 6, 2025

There are three ways to participate as a hunter - through sponsorships, as an individual, and on scholarship. Criteria for selection of each hunting spot is based on a written statement by the applicant and reviewed by Hunt Planning Committee members.

We're thrilled to announce that we are now accepting applications from sponsors and individuals who share our passion for women's economic self-sufficiency, mentoring, and camaraderie through hunting.

1) Sponsored Hunt Spots

In 2025, sponsored hunt spots cost $5,750 each. Sponsors will receive promotional benefits, and many will send hunters of their choice to participate. Sponsorships also continue to help support the scholarship program, ensure the sustainability of the hunt, raise money to host the annual event, and carry out the mission of the Wyoming Women’s Foundation.

For full consideration, apply by February 6. Consideration will continue until all sponsored hunt spots are filled. Sponsor applicants will be notified and offered spots starting on February 20.

2) Individual Hunt Spots

Individual hunt packages cost $3,750 each in 2025. You do not need any hunting experience to apply to participate and payment plans are available! Open to both Wyoming and out-of-state residents.

For full consideration, apply by February 6. Applicants will be notified whether they are selected or on the waitlist by February 20, 2025.

3) Scholarship Hunt Spots - Application opens February 20!

Thanks to our amazing sponsor and donors, roughly one third of all hunters attend the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt on scholarship each year! There are general scholarships as well as one for a Wyoming single mom and a US Military Veteran. The scholarship application will open on February 20 and close on March 20.

Pronghorn Bucks Bonus Hunt Spot

This year we will continue the Pronghorn Bucks bonus spot and compile “preference points,” based on donations to the Hunt scholarship fund, Shelley’s Fund, Ride the Range Fund or the Wyoming Women’s Foundation beginning December 2024, through April 30, 2025. Donors receive one Pronghorn Buck per dollar of tax-deductible donations. One hunt spot will be available to the donor with the highest number of Pronghorn Bucks at the regular registration rate for an individual or sponsored hunter, in addition to their previous donations. An application to sponsor or for an individual hunt spot must be submitted to be considered for the Pronghorn Bucks Bonus Spot.
