SHOW OTHERS THE WAY TOWARD A REGENERATIVE FUTURE
Quivira Coalition is an organization dedicated to supporting sustainable working landscapes across the West. At this time we are seeking more ranch mentors to be a part of our New Agrarian Program for the 2027 season. NAP supports 8 (+/-) month-long apprenticeships on ranches. Our apprentices are often new to ranching and agriculture. We are looking for ranches that are not only looking for extra hands on their operation, but who also want to serve as mentors to a new generation getting started in agriculture.
Our mentor requirements are the following:
An operation that prioritizes healthy soil, food, ecosystems and communities
Maintains a culture that provides a high quality of life for both people and animals
Have time and capacity to be a thoughtful mentor
Are able to pay an apprentice as a W-2 employee
Can provide housing that is independent of mentor housing
