Chokecherry Harvest- Medicine Bow Mountains
Come gather and learn about chokecherries and their cultural significance to Wyoming's indigenous people. Help collect chokecherries in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest to supply elder boxes on the Wind River Indian Reservation. This event will take place in late July. RSVP for updates.

Come gather and learn about chokecherries and their cultural significance to Wyoming's indigenous people.
Learn from facilitators with the US Forest Service, the Food Bank of Wyoming, The Sweetgrass Food Lodge, and the Wind River Indian Reservation.
Help collect chokecherries in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest to supply elder boxes on the Wind River Indian Reservation.
This event will take place in late July in the Medicine Bow Mountains (likely near Saratoga or Encampment), but exact timing and location will depend on when the chokecherries ripen.
