About the event

Our July Speaker Series will feature Kelly Sanderson of Sanderson Homestead.

Kelly and her family live on a small homestead near Albin, Wy. Their focus is on raising food for their family, which includes chickens, pigs, turkeys, ducks, as well as a very productive vegetable garden. Through the years, they have improved our vegetable production using raised beds, trellising, microclimates and finally a greenhouse that was built in 2022. While the garden areas are spread out in two locations, the area they take up would fit in an average size backyard. By planting intensively, they are able to produce most of the vegetables the family consumes through the year, even in the harsh Wyoming climate.

Our speaker series would happen virtually, Thursday, July 30, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Zoom links will be distributed to attendees via registration and reminder emails before the event.
