Participate in a Research Project on Understanding the Needs and Priorities of Rural Beef & Sheep Producers

We are conducting a research project to learn more about current challenges faced by beef/sheep producers in rural areas of Wy. As a large or small sheep/beef producer or operator, you may deal with & learn how to adapt to a range of issues including work-life balance, land, water, irrigation, & regulatory challenges, high costs of equipment/labor, market fluctuations & access, succession planning, family heritage & history, economic development, & environmental conditions to name a few. These concerns might affect day-to-day operations and your long-term plans for the future.

We hope that a better understanding of beef/sheep producers' priorities & experiences will provide valuable information that will allow the University of Wyoming to better serve the needs of rural communities.

You will be paid for participation ($75/individual or group interview (4-8 people), and $150/ranch visit
