National Farmers Market Survey

Michigan State University Extension & USDA are leading a national survey to better understand & support farmers markets. The goal of the National Farmers Market Survey is to create clear profiles & benchmarks for farmers markets.

The survey is conducted online & can be accessed using the "Take the Survey!" button. We will collect responses of the survey from launch through the end of March.

The survey is designed w/ farmers market managers in mind: 

• Questions are straightforward, requiring little preparation. 

• All information requested is easily observable (no sensitive data will be collected). 

• Completing the survey helps build a national picture of farmers market activity during the 2025 market season.
