International Year of the Woman Farmer: Annie’s Project Feature Winding Roads: The Leadership Journeys of Women Farmers Presenters: Annie’s Project Leadership - Somula Schwoeppe, President of the Board, Karisha Devlin, Curriculum and Training Officer, Doris Mold, Chief Executive Officer Leadership in agriculture doesn’t always follow a straight path—and that’s what makes the journey powerful. Join us for Winding Roads: The Leadership Journeys of Women Farmers, an inspiring and practical conversation exploring how women farmers are stepping into leadership, where they want to grow next, and what helps—or hinders—their paths along the way. Drawing on insights from the Agricultural Women’s Community & Leadership Survey, this session will highlight key findings around women’s leadership involvement, aspirations, supports, and barriers in agriculture. You’ll also hear directly from three women farmers who serve on the Annie’s Project Leadership Team as they share their personal leadership journeys—honest stories of challenges, growth, and the impact of community support. Together, we’ll explore how we can better nurture leadership opportunities for women farmers and agricultural professionals at every stage. Whether you’re already leading, considering stepping into leadership, or supporting women in agriculture, this session offers insight, connection, and inspiration you won’t want to miss.
